Schedule of Condition of commercial units

C W Johnson Limited Chartered Surveyors are pleased to have been instructed to carry out an internal and external Schedule of Condition as part of a new commercial lease agreement on these three units. We were approached by the tenant to record the current condition of the premises in a Schedule which can be appended to the lease agreement. The Schedule can then be used at the end of the lease period when determining the extent of any claim for dilapidations (if any) resulting from repairs to the building fabric during the lease period. Our instruction also extended to a drone survey of the high level roof areas. We wish the ingoing tenant all the very best with the commercial venture.

Alterations and Extensions to Village Hall

C W Johnson Limited Chartered Surveyors are pleased to have been instructed to prepare planning drawings for an extension to an established Village Hall in Norfolk. The Client required enlarged accommodation and improved toilet facilities to ensure the long term functionality of the village hall and its appeal to the wider community for hire, functions and village events. Several discussions were held over potential layout options based upon the clients brief, site specifics and practicalities of the scheme with consideration given to the existing structure and property design. We look forward to seeing the project developed in the near future.

Planning Application for amusement arcade

C W Johnson Limited Chartered Surveyors are pleased to have been instructed to prepare planning drawings for a change of use planning application to this prominent commercial property in the center of Great Yarmouth’s tourist area. The Client required the change of use of the premises to an amusement arcade, from a vacant building last used as a restaurant. The application required careful liaison with the local authority planning department being located in a flood zone and heritage district. We are pleased to say that full planning permission for the change of use and advertising signage was granted, and we look forward to seeing this property being brought back to use and contributing to the local economy.

Measured Survey for commercial property

Planning Application for commercial storage unit

C W Johnson Limited Chartered Surveyors are pleased to have been instructed to prepare planning drawings and submit a detailed planning application for the extension of a commercial storage barn in Norfolk. Following approval of the planning permission we were also asked to provide support to submit a Building Regulation application for the applicant. We are pleased to say that the scheme has now been completed.
